Hortensia’s passion for cakes was inherited from her mother, who was said to “make the best sweets in town”. She has followed up this tradition by injecting all the elements of her own personality, characterised by her years of art study, her desire to attract a broader customer base, her interest in using the taste and flavour of traditional products, and by her drive for continuous improvement. The result has been the establishment and continuing development of the family business, now called “Hortensia’s Sweets”.
